Been a long time since I stopped by but glad I did. The chicken is still barbecued on site, daily! A longtime bento spot, stop by and support a local and delicious business.

The beauty of this place is its simplicity, meat, rice, sauce, that’s it, and that’s all it needs to be. Well marinated meat on a generous portion of rice for $10, still the cheapest lunch in town. If you’re looking for a fancy bento, the cost a lot, keep looking, this is not for you. If you’re looking for a great affordable bento to take to the park and enjoy this great neighborhood, you’ve hit the jackpot.

Went here on a whim when no other place was open for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was cooked well and had good flavor, rice cooked right too. I had shumai and gyoza too, both of which were properly cooked and had good flavor. The price of the shumai and gyoza we're excellent compared to other places. Will likely go again given the time.

Since the 90s i got their skewers with big dan. Unfortunately now i never know when they are opened, the hours vary, sometimes it closes before advertised time, run out of skewers. Nobody picks up the phone. I would go there weekly if they were more consistent

Big Dan is amazing. Everyone come buy from this gentleman. He is a hardworking business owner and he always makes all the food himself. Amazing Yakitori. If you need affordable amazing quick food stop by and see Dan.
